We’re looking for an outstanding Marketing Coordinator for our Stockholm office, to be in charge of planning and execution of the company’s marketing and PR activities. The position is a temporary post for 8 months due to parental leave, with the possibility for extension or a permanent position. Start is preferably May 9th, and it will be a full-time or part-time post depending on the agreement.
At Sciss we believe successful business can have a simple recipe – shoot straight, be honest and build great products. Add a dash of design and that’s a definition of who we aspire to be. Sounds exciting? We think it is.
Work description
As our Marketing Coordinator you will be responsible for all marketing and PR activities. You will be in charge of planning and executing the activities that are set out in our marketing plan; including marketing campaigns, presence on industry conferences and events, press releases, advertising, managing our blog, newsletters and social media presence. The marketing plan will guide you in your work, but you will have freedom to be creative and shape the execution of the activities.
As Marketing Coordinator you will also manage the company’s webpage, including creating and updating content, news, and blog posts. You will also manage marketing of films.
You will, through your activities, support the sales team in their sales process. You will also establish and maintain relationships with clients, partners, agencies, and other stakeholders.
Who are you?
You have working experience within marketing and/or PR.
You are fluent in English and have very good writing skills. Since Sciss is an international company, all our marketing and communications are in English. Swedish is not a requirement.
You have basic skills in InDesign and Photoshop and can produce simple print material, such as advertisements and product sheets.
You have experience in managing webpages and writing content for the web.
You are curious and have an interest in science and technology. Ideally you have worked in a similar industry before, within visualization, integrated systems or immersive displays.
You are independent and have the confidence to make decisions on your own. You also have the ability to see when you need support and knowledge from your colleagues to complete a task.
You are energetic and positive and are looking to join our team to be an integral part of a rapidly growing endeavor. You value helpfulness, honesty, and the ambition to improve.
Attitude and capability is more important than experience, so don’t hesitate to apply for this position even if your experience is missing on one or more of these points.
