Job Summary
We are looking to expand our talented software development team in order to continue delivering an innovative and technically advanced educational product, Uniview. Uniview is a market leading visualization software focused on space, Earth and climate data for digital planetariums, museums and classrooms all around the world. At Sciss, a great deal of responsibility is required by all employees, which in turn gives you many opportunities to influence the technical and functional aspects of our product offerings.
Our products span a broad gamut of software and hardware services. Our core visualization application is written in C++ and OpenGL. Around this application we have a set of tools written in technologies ranging from C# / WPF client facing tools, to backend support scripts in Python, as well as cloud services written in Node.js and .Net. We are looking for someone to maintain and improve our products together with the rest of our talented team as we transition towards consolidating our various products for expanding into other markets.

Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a software engineer.
- Solid C++ skills
- Good with communicating ideas
Bonus Skills
- Team Lead/Management experience
- Familiarity with Windows Azure
- Web technology experience, HTML5/Javascript, Cloud services etc
