Developing our product to fulfill the needs of our user community has always been at the forefront of what we do at Sciss. In an effort to continue improving upon this commitment, we are happy to announce that our valued developer Jawad Mairaj has taken on a new role as Uniview Product Manager.

In this new role, Jawad will oversee the direction of the development team and be responsible for planning and performing Uniview training to users ensuring that customers understand and can use Uniview sufficiently to meet their needs and expectations. Through site visits and increased communication with the sales team it will be Jawad’s responsibility to have a solid perspective of how the product is perceived at the client’s side and where to invest the development team’s energy for the future.

Jawad has been a key member of our Uniview development team for the past 4 years. Jawad first became a part of the Sciss family while completing his graduate studies at Linköping University. He developed the Uniview Shader Effect System (USES) as his thesis project, which is now used for a lot of realtime content (like Neurotours).

This new role will help support Sciss’ continued commitment to our user community to provide the very best scientific visualization software on the market.
